How Structona handles personal data on this website, in UnitPad, and in ProTimer. Calculation files and timer data stay on your device.

Who we are
Structona, in Gothenburg, Sweden, is the controller for the data below.
Contact: contact@structona.com.
This website
The site does not ask you to create an account. The theme does not add analytics or advertising cookies. The host may keep ordinary server logs, such as an IP address, to run and protect the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies are described on the cookie policy. Essential cookies run the site. Optional cookies stay off until you allow them in the consent banner.
Contact form
If you write to us, we store the name, email, and message you submit, so we can reply. The form asks for your consent before it sends. Sending a message does not require analytics cookies. The legal basis is that consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We keep the message while we handle the inquiry, then delete it. You can withdraw consent by asking us to delete the message. That does not affect a reply already sent.
UnitPad account
Signing in to UnitPad needs an email, including on the free version. We process that email, your plan, and a session so you stay signed in. The email is the login. We do not use it for marketing. The legal basis is that this data is needed to provide the account and the plan (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Payment details, billing address, and VAT stay with Paddle. Paddle is the merchant of record and the controller for payment and for the tax records it must keep.
The account row is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt, until you delete it. Deleting it removes the session and the account row. We still keep the email for two narrow reasons: so the same address cannot start a second 7-day trial, and so a lifetime purchase or a subscription that is still paid through the end of the period can be restored if you sign in again. If you ask for a copy, we send the email and the plan. We do not send marketing email.
Calculation files
Sheets you write, in the browser or in the desktop app, stay on your device. We do not store them, and ordinary use does not send them to us.
If you use AI Connect on the desktop, you send the open sheet to the assistant you chose. That assistant is not ours. We do not receive that content.
ProTimer
Projects, time entries, budgets, and settings stay in the browser, on your device. We do not receive them. ProTimer has no account.
Vercel serves the ProTimer app. Ordinary use does not send that project data to Vercel or to us.
Who else handles data
These services handle parts of the data. Calculation files are not among them.
- Neon (Frankfurt, EU) stores the account row: email, plan, and session.
- Vercel serves the UnitPad app and API, and the ProTimer app. Account requests for UnitPad pass through it. Sheets do not. ProTimer project and time data stay in the browser and are not sent through it.
- Inleed (Sweden) hosts this website, keeps server logs, and delivers contact mail. Logs are kept for the host’s security retention.
- Google and Microsoft can sign you in. We ask only for the email. We do not store a name or a photo.
- Paddle is the merchant of record for payment, billing address, VAT, and tax records.
Resend sends the sign-in link when you ask for one. That message is not marketing. If email sign-in is not turned on, Resend is not used.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, or to receive it in a portable form. Where the law gives you the right, you can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
Sign-in, payment, and the API host may process data outside Sweden. Where that processing is outside the EU/EEA, the transfer uses a safeguard the GDPR allows, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
The terms for the site, for UnitPad, and for ProTimer are on the terms page.
