The website

The site describes Structona, UnitPad, and ProTimer, including the posts.

Text, marks, and layout on the site belong to Structona. You may quote a short passage if you link back to the page. You may not copy the site or the marks into your own product.

Pages and posts explain the work. They are not engineering advice, a design, or a substitute for the codes and checks your work requires.

Some links, including Open UnitPad and Open ProTimer, leave this site. Each product has its own section below.

We may change or remove pages.

UnitPad

UnitPad is a calculation sheet with units, for the browser and the desktop. Free includes the calculation engine, saving, and a basic PDF, including commercial use. Signing in needs an email, including on Free. Pro adds advanced PDF and branding, Excel and Mathcad exchange, and AI Connect, when those purchases are offered.

Your files. Sheets you write, including .upad and .calc.md files and exports, are yours. They are kept only on your device. We do not receive your calculations that way.

License. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use UnitPad. Free covers personal and commercial calculation work. You do not acquire the software, the Structona or UnitPad marks, or a right to resell, sublicense, or present UnitPad as your own product.

You may not remove copyright notices, strip the “Created with UnitPad” mark from a Free PDF so that it looks like a Pro export, or use the software to build a competing copy of the product. You may not probe, disrupt, or overload the service. Reverse engineering is allowed only where the law requires that for interoperability.

Your responsibility. UnitPad is a tool. You remain responsible for the inputs, the units, the method, and whether a result is fit to use. A result can be wrong because of a bug, a bad input, or a model the sheet does not contain. UnitPad does not replace the applicable codes, peer review, or your professional duty. Do not rely on a calculation you have not checked.

Pro, trial, and payment. When checkout is available:

• The price is the one shown on the site or at checkout. Paddle is the merchant of record and adds VAT.
• Paid plans are Pro monthly, Pro yearly, and Pro lifetime. A 7-day Pro trial is one per email: an account, no card.
• The first paid purchase may be refunded within 14 days through Paddle.
• After you cancel a subscription, Pro lasts until the end of the period you have paid for. Lifetime is one named user. It includes later updates of the Pro features we then offer, for as long as we offer UnitPad. It is not transferable, and it is not a promise that a particular future feature will exist. The copy already on your computer keeps doing local calculations if we stop offering the product.
• An account stores the email you use to sign in, and the plan. Payment details stay with Paddle. Deleting the account removes our record of the email and plan. Paddle keeps the records the law requires it to keep.

AI Connect. On the desktop, AI Connect lets you attach an assistant you choose. That assistant is not ours. What you send it, including the open sheet, follows that provider’s terms. You choose what to send.

Availability. We may update, suspend, or stop UnitPad or a feature. We will not cut off a period you have already paid for except for security, abuse, or the law. If we discontinue UnitPad during a prepaid subscription period, we will refund the unused part of that period.

Warranty and liability. The site, UnitPad, and ProTimer are provided as available. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, that every result is correct, or that they fit a particular project.

Nothing here limits liability that Swedish or EU law does not allow us to limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and rights you have as a consumer.

Where you use UnitPad or ProTimer in a business, and the law allows the limit: our total liability from the site or the software is the amount you paid us for UnitPad in the twelve months before the claim, or €100 if you paid nothing. We are not liable for lost profit, for data lost on your device, or for the cost of a design decision taken from a calculation, except where the law does not allow that exclusion. The prices, trial, and payment terms above apply to UnitPad only. ProTimer is free, so that cap is €100.

ProTimer

ProTimer is a timer for projects and tasks, in the browser only. It is free, including commercial use, with no account and no paid plan.

Your data. Projects, time entries, budgets, and settings stay on your device. We do not receive them.

License. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ProTimer. You do not acquire the software or the ProTimer mark, or a right to resell, sublicense, or present ProTimer as your own product.

The warranty and liability terms in the UnitPad section also apply to ProTimer.

Privacy

Calculation files and ProTimer data stay on your device. The privacy notice, including the contact form, accounts, cookies, and your GDPR rights, is on the privacy page. Cookies are listed on the cookie policy.

Changes

The date at the top is the current version. If you keep using the site, UnitPad, or ProTimer after we post a new version, that version applies. A paid plan keeps the terms in force when you bought it until that plan renews, unless the law requires a change sooner.

Law

Swedish law applies. The courts of Sweden have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, mandatory consumer rules and your home courts still apply where those rules say so.
